About Lexie
At 18-years-old, my life was mapped out before it had really begun.
I graduated high school with half my college credits already completed, on track to finish my Bachelor's in two years and then straight to law school. It was a solid, logical, linear plan.
The thing about plans is that they don’t always account for your embodied feelings once you’re there.
I changed everything.
Within one week, I knew I was in the wrong place, studying the wrong thing, building a life that didn’t belong to me. So I changed everything.
I transferred colleges. Changed degrees. Shifted the entire trajectory of my life. Not because it made sense but because it felt right.
I followed my heart
and my heart led me across the world
Embodiment is the essence of our being.
I discovered that embodiment isn’t a practice we add to our life; it’s the way we learn to listen inward.
It’s the subtle “gut” feeling that points us toward what is meant for us.
Movement became my compass.
It taught me that the body is always speaking.
That movement isn’t just physical; it’s emotional, intuitive, and deeply human.
Now, I’m based in New York City, where I work as a Pilates instructor, yoga teacher, and breathwork facilitator. I specialize in private and small-group sessions, offering intelligent, assessment-driven work tailored to each individual. My approach is shaped by extensive education and professional experience, with an emphasis on movement strategy, neuroplasticity, and nervous-system regulation.
As the Lead Educator for Polestar Pilates in New York City, I train new instructors through comprehensive programs, mentorship, and professional development rooted classical and contemporary Pilates methodolgy, functional biomechanics, somatic education, and nervous-system–informed approaches to movement.
My mission is simple:
To help people move, breathe, and live in a way that feels like coming home to Self.
Whether we work together in a private session in NYC, in a group class, on retreat, or online, my work centers on presence, connection, and the deep belief that embodiment can change your life, the same way it changed mine.
Outside of New York,
I lead retreats worldwide in places that have significantly shaped me personally, integrating Pilates, yoga, breathwork, and somatic practices in culturally immersive environments.
These retreats give space to pause, reset, and reconnect with Self beyond the demands of daily life.
Because sometimes the most meaningful progress happens when you step outside your life long enough to see it clearly.
